Google and Samsung Release Chromebook That Runs Android Apps

Today at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017, held in Las Vegas, USA, Google together with Samsung will be unveiling the next line of Chromebook laptops that also double as a tablet thanks to its new touchscreen and built-in support for running Android apps. This new line of Google and Samsung laptops will include Chromebook Plus and Chromebook Pro. The difference between these two is the CPU. Chromebook Plus will feature an hexacore ARM OP1 microprocessor specifically made for Chromebooks (Dual A72, Quad A53), while the Pro version will come with a more powerful Intel Core m3 6Y30 processor (0.90 GHz up to 2.20 GHz, 4 MB L3 Cache).
